Course Overview
· Introducing Office Cosmetic Medical Procedures to the OBGYN Practice
· Introduction to Botox Aesthetic, Restylane and Other Cosmetic Fillers
· Introduction to Lasers-Intense Pulsed Light Cosmetic Treatments including Hair Removal, Vein Removal and Skin Enhanced Photorejuvenation
· Introduction to Microdermabrasion
   
Objectives
· Enhance knowledge of medical cosmetic procedures
· Become proficient with performance of Botox, and Restylane injections
· Become proficient with performance of Lasers-Intense Pulsed Light Treatments
· Enhance knowledge of potential complications associated with medical cosmetic techniques, their prevention, and management
· Enhance knowledge of how to introduce cosmetic services into the practice including marketing and management.
   
 

ACCREDITATION

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint sponsorship of the Academy of Medicine of Richmond and the International Society of Cosmetogynecology. The Academy of Medicine of Richmond is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Academy of Medicine of Richmond designates this educational activity for a maximum of 8 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the educational activity. Back to Top
