BRAVA System

THE BRAVA SPORT SYSTEMS REQUIRES A CONSISTENT WEAR REGIMEN OF A MINIMUM OF 10 CONTINUOUS HOURS A DAY, EVERYDAY, FOR AT LEAST 10 CONSECTUTIVE WEEKS TO ACHIEVE EFFICACY. CLINICAL TRIALS SHOW INCREASING HOURS WORN PER DAY AND INCREASING THE NUMBER OF WEEKS OF WEAR LEAD TO IMPROVED RESULTS. BRAVA SPORT SYSTEM USERS MAY OUTGROW THE DOME SET PROVIDED. REMOVE SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY IF BREAST TISSUE TOUCHES THE INSIDE OF THE DOME. ADDITIONAL DOMES MAYBE ORDERED BY CALLING BRAVA CUSTOMER CARE AT 1-800-407-5304. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE MINIMUM WEAR TIME WILL REQUIRE A LONGER WEAR PERIOD OR PRODUCE SUBSTANDARD RESULTS. REQUIRED USE AND RESULTS VARY PER INDIVIDUAL. THE BRAVA SPORT SYSTEM MAY NOT BE SHARED. PROLONGED CONTACT WITH OTHER’S BACTERIAL FLORA COULD CAUSE INFECTION, ABSCESSES, SKIN BREAK DOWN, AND BLISTERING. REMOVE SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY AT ANY SIGN OF SIGNIFICANT ITCHING, DISCOMFORT, BURNING, PAIN SKIN BREAKDOWN OR BONE TENDERNESS.

GETTING STARTED

1.
Remove and check for all components from container box.
2.
Insert the 2 “AAA” alkaline batteries into your Sport Box (with normal wear, replace every 10 to 14 days as needed)
3.
Prep skin by cleaning the breasts and underarms with Brava Skin Cleanser and rinse with water. Dry the chest area completely. Use one No-Sting Skin Prep daily. Apply to area where domes come in contact with skin. Allow to dry thoroughly before applying domes.
4.
Connect filter to top of Sport Box. Twist gently, do not over tighten.
5.
Put on the bra and zip completely over bare chest. Disconnect shoulder straps & lower bra to waist area until domes are applied.
6.
Remove the protective seal on the domes. Domes are marked at top of Domes R for right side and L for left side.
7.
Gently flare the dome’s soft rim outward around the entire rim surface. Lean forward to ensure all breast tissue fits inside dome. If you’re height is less than 5’7”, place bottom outside edge of adhesive rim approximately 1-½ inches below natural breast crease. If you are 5’7” or taller, place bottom outside adhesive rim 1 ¾ inches below breast crease. Maintain gentle manual pressure on both domes with one forearm until bra is raised and supporting the weight of the domes. When complete, all breast tissue must be inside of the domes. Be sure there are no skin folds under adhesive rim and that the gel rim does not curl under toward the hard shell of the domes. To avoid unnecessary discomfort or air leaks, domes may gently touch at the center of the chest but must not overlap.
8.
Attach T-Tubing to dome ports located at the bottom of each dome using your forearm to support both domes.
9.
Use one hand to raise bra while the other arm maintains support on domes. Raise the zipped bra over both domes and T-tubing. Attach two ends of shoulder straps with Velcro straps. Leave the remaining end of the T-tubing hanging below the bra. (Do not connect SportBox)
10.
Activate the SportBox by pressing both the POWER button ON and ALARM button ON (Listen for separate single beep on both buttons)
11.
Attach the T-tubing to the filter. Twist the bottom end of the tubing to the top of the filter located on the SportBox.
12.
Bring both palms of your hands toward your chest, press domes gently. This action closes off any gaps where domes may have adhered to skin. This will prevent air leaks until full pressure is achieved. Once proper pressure is reached, the pump will shut off automatically. This indicates you have achieved a proper seal. Note: To facilitate this process, please remain still during this short period (typically 2-8 minutes, depending on depth of domes)
13.
Place Sport Box inside bra pocket and adjust the bra straps by the Velcro for a more comfortable & loose fit.
14.
It is normal for you to hear the pump re-activate 1-4 times during your wear session as it is maintaining proper pressure. This will not necessitate repositioning domes unless the alarm sounds after 10 minutes, signaling a lost seal.
15.
After removing the domes, wash chest area using your normal Body Wash and rinse. Apply the Brava Body Lotion to replenish moisture during non-wear hours. This will prevent possible skin irritations and provide optimal skin care.
16.
Wash Domes daily using the Antiseptic Dome Cleanser, allow them to remain on the tacky rim for 5-15 minutes and rinse thoroughly to remove all
