Live surgery hands-on workshop

Introduction to safe, advanced liposuction and fat transfer techniques:

Liposculpturing of the neck, jowls, arms, back, thighs,
breast reduction, knees, calves, ankles
Facial volume restoration with autologous fat grafting
Treatment of skin depressions, scars, and post liposuction irregularties using fat transfer.
Hand rejuvenation, phalloplasty, labiaplasty buttock enhancement using fat grafting.
High definition liposculpturing techniques for males and females.
New AIRBRUSH liposculpturing System.
Autologous fat transfer. The basics of autologous fat grafting.
Breast augmentation with fat grafting: Standard fat grafting technique and the Brava vacuum assisted technique.
Large volume liposuction strategies.
Objective intraoperative evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of current liposuction techniques

Improving unfavorable post liposuction results using:
Liposhifting/lipofilling and Mesotherapy Techniques
Comparison of devices currently being used for fat harvesting and transfer.
Clinical and financial comparison of autologous fat and other fillers.

Several hands-on live surgeries will be performed to demonstrate the procedures covered during the didactic portion of the course.

ACCREDITATION
The Academy of Medicine of Richmond is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York to sponsor continuing education for physicians. This program has been designated for a maximum of 26 hours of category I credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award (AMA-PRA). Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that s/he actually spent in the educational activity.

Objective intraoperative evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of urrent liposuction techniques: standard suction/cannula, power assisted, disruption assisted (manual and power assisted), VASER, low level laser liposuction, and laser lipolysis.
